1. Our PIs are hard at work and focusing all of their attention on the Z1 virus.

2. KRF Group has secured scientific and financial support from several NGOs.

3. We are investigating reports of an H1N1 related death in New Zealand.

Command & Control: Should Survivor Command be community directed, what level of support is required by KRF Group, is a clandestine cell approach appropriate?

Awareness Raising Direct Action: Should this be encouraged or discouraged, left to individual cells, what is appropriate, what is effective?

All suggestions are welcome. The time for leadership is now.

Many of these new security protocols can not be discussed without introducing new vulnerabilities in to the system but we can reveal some of the changes:

1. All travel for lab personnel has been suspended for two years. This unprecedented move was absolutely required to ensure that there are zero contact points between those who work with the Z1 virus and the rest of the world. Current staff have voluntarily committed to a minimum two year working agreement. During this time they will not be permitted to leave the facility for any reason. KRF Group will review this restriction in July of 2012.

2. KRF Group HQ personnel will lead any public safety or research coordination between officials outside of the lab. Contact points and additional details will be available before the end of July as this effort ramps up.

Please remember that your participation in this effort is vital. Raise awareness, prepare your families, and join the discussion. Our team is 100% committed to stopping this virus but you each have ultimate responsibility for your survival.

1. Who are the 11?
We will not reveal their identities until they are successfully prosecuted and our internal investigators complete their own investigation.

2. Why were the 11 targeting the lab and KRF Group?
The group was ideologically motivated. We can not disclose the details of their motivation at this time.

3. Is John Davis one of the 11?
KRF Group will have no further comment on the status of Mr. Davis.

4. Did the 11 compromise lab security?
Lab security was compromised. The details of the breach can not be discussed. However, the facility was taken completely offline, once the breach was discovered, to eliminate additional risk. Operations were quickly transferred to another secure facility with the assistance of our host government. We can assure you that extreme measures were taken to ensure security and continuity of operations.

5. Who arrested the 11 and where are they being held?
This can not be disclosed at this time. We assure you that they are being held securely and that their human rights will be respected.

6. Did the 11 release the virus or infected subjects during the breach?
This is the primary focus of our internal investigation. All infected subjects remain under our control. We believe that the risk of release is minimal but the possibility can not be ruled out. KRF Group is receiving support from several governments and organizations in this effort.

6. When will the internal investigation be complete?
There is not a fixed time-line. The investigation will be ruled complete if, and only if, all open issues are resolved.

7. What is the status of your work on the Z1 virus?
Work has continued, almost without interruption, despite these challenges. Operations are now being transferred back to our original facility. Additional security protocols are in place. We expect to release a detailed update soon.

8. Is Survivor Command still operational?
Yes. There will be structural and procedural changes to address security and communication concerns. A temporary reduction in membership is the first of these changes. Please continue to monitor Survivor Command and please continue to prepare.

Although KRF Group does not typically discuss matters related to membership or group activity we feel that the unique threat posed by Mr. Davis’ resignation and subsequent activities demands additional clarification. It is our belief, based on private communications with Mr. Davis, that he is no longer working in the interest of KRF Group or its mission. In fact, it is Mr. Davis’ stated intent to oppose our mission. As a result KRF Group has taken the additional step of revoking Mr. Davis’ “Associate” status.

KRF Group Associates are prohibited from initiating contact with Mr. Davis. We ask that all communications received from Mr. Davis be reported through your regional command. It is our belief, based on statements made by Mr. Davis, that he intends to bring harm to KRF Group associates and others. Rest assured that KRF Group will aggressively pursue all avenues, both legal and extralegal, to ensure the safety of its associates, employees, facilities, and operations.

The word continues to get out thanks to members of Survivor Command and others who are joining our cause. Nothing, not even sophisticated hacker attacks, can stop us from sharing the truth.

James D. found an inventive way to spread the truth – drawing up his own version of the Zombie Truth flyer and distributing it in eastern Tennessee. If you want to stage your own action downloading our flyer is a fast way to start but making your own is always an option.

There are three key threats faced by all if the Z1 virus begins to circulate unchecked.

1. Infection
2. Violence at the hands of the infected.
3. The disruption of life sustaining services due to the two factor above and widespread panic.

Infection
Of the three threats infection is the area where we may possibly have the most control. The unusual nature of the virus, and the resulting emerging violence, will elevate the visibility of an outbreak quickly. Excellent hygiene and social distancing will lessen the risk somewhat but other, far more significant threats, will present themselves if widespread infection occurs. Again, if Z1 infection is already widespread and latent prevention may no longer be possible for many

Violence
At its heart a Z1 pandemic is about massive uncontrolled violence. Data models indicate that far more people will die at the hands of the infected than as a direct result of infection. Quarantine may be an effective isolation tool if an initial outbreak is identified quickly and if it occurs outside of a major urban setting or travel hub. However, if even a small percentage of current viruses in circulation are latent forms of Z1 then quarantine and other tools will be rendered almost completely ineffective. Combating latent widespread infections can only be addressed through vaccinations and a vaccine does not yet exist.

Given the unusual nature of this virus our biggest fear is that widespread Z1 infection has already occurred and that symptoms will appear spontaneously in a manner that it essentially unpredictable with current virus transmission models. If this fear is realized it will result in widespread fatalities and social breakdown. This degradation will occur rapidly and unpredictably. Social distancing will become more difficult to achieve and less effective because fleeing populations will be seeded with latent carriers. It will be a time of great uncertainty.

Disruption
Fear would spread quickly in the event of a significant Z1 outbreak. The outbreak itself and the associated panic would create massive disruption in the social order. Goods and services would be unavailable or contested. Urban areas and the essential services their workers provide would cease to operate. Rural landowner would not welcome urban refugees given their own desire for social distancing. Government and military services would not be spared the impact and would be unlikely to sustain any level of support in a full pandemic. Continuity of government plans would be fully activated but with a focus on post pandemic recovery rather than providing assistance mid-outbreak. In short, survival will only be a realistic option for the quick and the prepared. Small social groups of trusted and capable individuals will stand the greatest chance of surviving the initial few weeks of widespread transmission and disruption. A new social order will emerge and it will likely mirror the tribal structures of our past.

Preparedness
Form your networks and your tribes now. Start talking about a pandemic and post-pandemic world now. Learn survival skills now. Gather survival tools and supplies now. Plan as group now. There will be little time for any of these activities once Z1 outbreaks are confirmed. If we are lucky and a pandemic is avoided nothing will be lost in this effort. If we are unable to prevent or manage a pandemic and you have not prepared survival is unlikely.

Our work on the Z1 virus continues – little has changed on that front. It should also be said that little progress has been made. Our research team continues to work around the clock to uncover Z1′s secrets and additional resources have been applied in the field to monitor public health and assist the lab-based team with research and coordination.

There is another emerging track which appears to be directly related to Z1′s origins. It started with graphic images that appeared on one of the lab’s workstations. A bizarre image and message was later found in a shipment of deceased primate’s that the lab was asked to study. This image was then followed by equally unusual radio transmissions that were picked up in the lab. Then, sotpyrk appeared – apparently just to taunt the members of Survivor Command who have bravely volunteered their time to help decode these messages while also encouraging others to prepare for a possible Z1 pandemic.

We don’t know why T.C. and sotpyrk are going to such lengths to taunt us but our security personnel believe there may indeed be direct involvement in the origin of Z1. What started as a bizarre diversion has become a full-blown investigation with much of the required coordination being handled by the KRF Group directly.

In about 24 hours the KRF Group will open a new command center in Houston, Texas. Even the status of this newly created office has changed – expanding it’s mission far beyond the original intent of coordination of communications between public health officials and our research team. This office will also lead the investigation into the strange communications targeting the lab.

As you can imagine these events have had quite an impact on our communications plan here at Zombie Truth. We hope that the direct involvement of the KRF Group in the ongoing investigation of these unusual activities will allow us to shift our focus back towards preparedness and education. These efforts are critical and will become even more so in the days ahead.
